What's Happening Now

We're serious about safety We're all about fun and sportsmanship on the field. But like many sports organizations across the country, we take concussion awareness seriously. Have a BE-LAXing Summer!

Bellevue East Lacrosse will hold a youth and high-school level girl's summer lacrosse session. All BELAX players are encouraged to participate as well as bring along any friends who are considering playing in the spring of 2011.

This is an opportunity for girls in our program to keep their skills in shape and to stay connected with one another. In addition, this a great opportunity for newcomers to try lacrosse in an informal, supportive, and fun atmosphere.

Practices: Will be held at the new turf field at Wilburton Park on Fridays, from 5-7 pm.

Eligibility:

All girls who played with Bellevue East during the spring 2010 season.

Newcomers: All girls who reside within the attendance boundaries of Sammamish, Interlake, or Newport High schools and will be in grade 6 or higher this fall. We welcome International School students who reside within the above listed attendance boundaries.

A total of nine sessions:

June: 25th

July: 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th

August: 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th

Location: Wilburton Park, 12400 Main Street, Bellevue, WA. (Near the botanical garden.)

Youth Team: All girls who will be in grades 6/7/8 this coming fall 2010.

High School Team: All girls who will be in 9th grade and above this coming fall 2010. Graduating seniors from this past season are welcome as well.

Registration Fees: $75 High School / $60 Youth

U.S. Lacrosse Membership: All participants must be current members of US Lacrosse. Membership must be valid through the end of August. Visit U.S. Lacrosse to register.

PLEASE NOTE: We must have between 15 - 24 girls for each team. If you plan to play summer lacrosse, please inform Gail Wolz as soon as possible so that we can ensure your place on the team and secure field space from the Bellevue Parks District. All checks and registration forms must be received by June 16th.
