Mike began his lacrosse career as a parent assistant to Coach Emmett's Eastside Eagles 5/6 team. In 2006 Mike co-founded the Bellevue Girls Lacrosse Association with Coach Emmett and served as an assistant coach for the inaugural season of the Bellevue Breakers middle school team.

During the 2008 season Mike served as the head coach for our first year JV and 3/4 teams.  His JV team finished up with an impressive 6-2-1 record, considering the fact that the team was comprised mostly of girls who were playing lacrosse for their very first season. Mike is a certified Level 2 US Lacrosse coach.
